For some reason, I have never been able to drink coffee and started drinking tea as a young adult. I drink 2-3 cups of tea daily and it is my favorite time of day. The warm steam floating up in my face, the warmth of the cup between my hands, and all the warm thoughts that invade my brain. Drinking tea is a key part of my morning routine.
Reducing stress by having a morning routine is a great way to start your day. Each morning I do 10 minutes of yoga, drink my tea, journal, and if I can sit in the sunshine outdoors, I do that too. This process begins my day off to the right start and lets me ground myself.
